Do you wonder why some women easily get the guys they want? Are you ever confused about just what your guy is looking for? Do you want to know how to make him think of you as girlfriend material? Guys can be just as complex in their needs as women and the trick is to know that what they're looking for might not be as obvious as you think. Here are four things most guys look for in a potential girlfriend:

#1 No Games

Playing hard to get is one thing, and only up to a point. Most guys don't want to be subjected to a guessing game every time they ask a question. They want to be able to have a real conversation or a real night out without being overburdened with the drama of trying to please you and trying to figure out what you want. Being straightforward about your needs and desires, will show him that you're confident and strong enough to think that if he doesn't step up to the plate, you can easily find someone who will.

#2 Be Trustworthy

On the big things guys like to feel like they can trust the woman they're with. If he's constantly worrying about whether you are faithful or if you're telling him the truth all the time, he's probably not going to stick around very long. Taking a few minutes to reassure him every once and awhile can go a long way. This doesn't mean that little white lies are out of the question. "Yes I adore your family like my own." "You're the best I've ever had." They might be lies but they're harmful ones that will really help keep the peace in the relationship and keep him happy.

#3 Take Care of Yourself

This doesn't mean work out and starve yourself until you're skinny as a rail. Rather it means to take pride in your appearance, don't rush out to meet him looking like you rolled out of bed. By taking time with your appearance, you make your guy feel like he is special and that you really want to look good for him. Plus physical attraction may not be the most important factor in a relationship but it certainly doesn't hurt.

#4 Give Him Space

The last thing any guy wants is a girl controlling his every move. Let him have his guys night out and don't stress out about the fact that he didn't want you along. Guys sometimes need a break and time to just hang out with their friends, it doesn't mean he cares for you any less.
